Coutts Centre, Nanton AB 1 Day Workshop July 31st, 2024 9:00am – 4:00pm Course Description: Get inky and learn the magic of printmaking by carving your own stamps in easy cut linoleum blocks. Students will then explore a variety of ways to print by using their stamps to make art, cards and more. Participants will go home with their own custom blocks, amazing artwork, and an enthusiasm for printing with lino! All supplies included. Leighton Art Centre, Calgary AB 1 Day Workshop September 14th, 2024 10:00am – 4:00pm Course Description: Learn the secrets of capturing architecture, nature, and indoor scenes while you’re on the road, using a variety of techniques with watercolour and ink. This class will focus on a wide range of approaches for quickly capturing the moment with easy-to-transport supplies, as well as plenty of practical information on what to bring for your adventures!
