Rooted: Juried Members Exhibition
Leighton Art Centre, Calgary AB February 3rd - April 5th, 2026 Event Description: For the 24th annual Juried Members Exhibition, artists were invited to explore their connection to the land through works that honour the quiet power, resilience, and beauty found in the natural world. Whether depicting actual terrains or abstract impressions of flora, soil, and stone, artists were encouraged to reflect on the physical landscape, memories and identity with an to the land, the natural world’s patterns of seasonal cycles, growth, decay, and renewal and/or the relationship between human and habitat. Emma Collaboration
Big River, Saskatchewan Wednesday July 29th – Thursday August 6th 2026 Event Description: While not an exhibition or market, it is an honour to have been selected to participate in this year's collaboration! Every two years, one hundred artists from across the globe come together in the boreal forest of Saskatchewan to share in an experience of raw creation and open possibility. Artists at various stages of their careers are challenged to step outside their usual art practice, to explore medium, technique and subject matter through hands on collaboration and exciting creative exchange.
