It’s been a while since I’ve posted – things have been busy with our move from Airdrie to Cochrane. This past week I’ve finally been back in my studio full time. Currently I’m working on the next piece for Encompass Partnerships (check back next week to see it!) as well as a commission for a friend.
I’m excited to be back at the beautiful Leighton Art Centre this Saturday, October 1st for their Alberta Culture Days Event. I will be located in the Green Room from 10:00am – 2:00pm demoing my letterpress as well as basic printmaking. I absolutely love showing and talking about these tools and skills to the public. Hopefully it will inspire a few to come to one of my upcoming workshops! I have a block printing on fabric class on October 16th as well as a card making class on November 19th at the Leighton Centre. Also coming up this month is my trip to Langley, BC to do two demonstrations at Opus Art Supplies. My demonstration on Saturday, October 22nd is all about painting live and my class on Sunday October 23rd covers all sorts of things you can do with basic linocut printmaking. I hope to see some of you at these events! Comments are closed.
